Oh my. So much to say about this lovely wedding. And even more to show.
I could write on and on about all the things I loved about this wedding and just how special these two families are, but I know you all are really here for the photos, so I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.
Ok, I can’t do that.
Just one story…
As part of his gift to Margaret, Zach copied a page from his journal that he had written not too long after he and Margaret had started dating. In that journal entry, he said he knew this woman would be his wife. He noted all the things he loved and admired about her. Now Margaret is a stunning girl. Truly. And he noted that. Duly. And he loved the way she said his name. But the things he noted about her character that he admired and was attracted to were so deep and insightful, and I have to admit, the way he wrote about her got me little misty-eyed. He ended his journal entry by praying for her, and the whole room was a puddle of tears at that point.
These two are the real deal. And when I say it was honor to photograph their wedding, I don’t say that lightly. It truly was a privilege to witness two people with such a great love and character (and two really intensely fun and loving families) come together on their first day of forever.
BHLDN gowns everywhere I looked

This is a beautiful wedding! It looks like it was a lot of fun to shoot. I especially like the shot where, I assume, Zach’s father is helping him get ready for his big day. It’s not a moment that seems to be captured often but you executed it beautifully.
