I met Andrea several years ago when she was home from college. And until just a few days ago, I had forgotten about that first meeting.
She was away at college but had come back in town to visit her family. They all had gone out to lunch at Chandler Hill Vineyards, and that’s where we ran into them. (Chandler Hill is such a great spot for lunch on the deck… if you haven’t been, you should remedy that real soon). We had known Andrea’s parents for a few years, and they introduced us for the first time to their oldest daughter, Andrea. Ron and Sandy, Andrea’s parents, are just about the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. While they waited for their table, Ron sat down at a chair at our table, and Sandy sat on his lap while they talked with us for a few minutes about life. I remember thinking that Andrea was a pretty lucky girl to have parents who were as equally wonderful as they were in love. What a beautiful heritage of faith and love Andrea would inherit.
And several years later, I was there to photograph Andrea’s wedding, which, ironically, took place at the very same vineyard where I first met her.
I’ve been so excited to share these photos on my blog, but to be honest with you, I’m a little sad that Andrea and Danny’s wedding is over. I really did enjoy getting little emails and texts from Andrea about her wedding, and our coffee dates to discuss details were a bright spot in my day. I guess that’s just a testament to the fact that I am truly blessed to have clients that are so wonderful.
Some of my very favorite people made this day so very incredibly lovely:
