Rachel and Mike :: Engaged

A few months ago, I got a text message from Rachel that said “Lisa!  IT’S OFFICIAL!!!!” and I nearly jumped off my seat.

I first met Rachel a few years back when she was helping a friend plan her wedding. She had run across my blog and referred me to her soon-to-be-wed friend.  And then she passed my name along to another friend. And another.  And another. And another.  And after a while, it seemed like I was photographing one of Rachel’s friends at least once or twice or three times a year.

So over the course of time, Rachel’s introduced me to many of her friends.  And then one day this spring, she introduced me to Mike.  Mike, her fiance, that is. He’s officially her fiance at last, and I’m so elated to finally have her in front of my camera.  Their wedding later this year is something I’ve been looking forward to for a long, long time.

What a perfect day….

Many of you might recognize Rachel… not only is she obviously loved by the camera, but she’s also a fabulous graphic designer who’s designed gobs of beautiful wedding invitation suites, many of which have been featured here.
