In the midst of all the seemingly endless days filled with frozen tundra and gloomy gray skies that winter in the midwest always seems to bring, we passed our days dreaming of white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean waves. Never until I was an adult had I done anything warm during spring break. But after these past few years of road tripping to Florida with two cars loaded with kids and beach towels , I can’t imagine spending a week during the middle of winter.
I got a chance to spend some time alone with my camera, meandering up and down 30A (more on that soon…), and of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph our besties on the beach.

I’m always so jealous of your spreak break trips! And I’m also jealous of Bryce and Carrie conveniently being best friends with the likes of you so that they get awesome pictures taken during their vacation. Brent and I will just stick to our tacky family photos. Keep an eye out for us in Awkward Family Photos website. We’ll be there… it’s only a matter of time.
