On a day where I thought it might rain, we ended up with the most perfect of conditions for an engagement session. And Matt and Gretchen could not have been more adorable.
See how adorable they are? Sheesh.
I just wanted to point out a super-smart thing Matt and Gretchen did for their session… because we knew that restrooms would not be readily available for outfits changes at this location, Gretchen chose a neutral dress and paired it with several accessories throughout the course of the shoot. She had a change of shoes (LOVE her boots), a scarf, and a jacket, which all made for slightly different, yet cohesive, looks. AND we didn’t miss one second of the glorious light we had that day because the slight changes didn’t require a trip back to the car. Smart move :).
This wasn’t the first time I met Matt and Gretchen… I actually first met them when they were in middle school (which makes me feel just a smidge old). I think you’ll agree that they’ve grown into two beautiful people. And the camera loves them. obviously.
