Katie and Teddy :: Country Club wedding in St. Louis

September 11, 2014

felker_679 When I first walked onto the grounds of this ceremony and reception venue, my jaw dropped.  Even though I was just a few miles from where I live, it sure did look like we had arrived in Southern California.  The long tables, the unseasonably wonderful weather, the al fresco dining under strands of lights… it was perfect. And such a refreshing design.  Everywhere I turned, every little detail was dreamy. So, needless to say, I had a hard time narrowing down all my favorites.  But I hardly think anyone will mind… there’s just so much pretty everywhere. felker_blog_002felker_blog_004felker_blog_005 Jimmy Choo.  Dreamy. felker_blog_006felker_blog_007   I’m not sure that Katie has ever taken one bad photo.  Ever.  She’s a natural beauty and genuinely kind soul. felker_blog_008felker_blog_009felker_blog_010felker_blog_011felker_blog_012felker_blog_013felker_blog_014felker_blog_016felker_blog_017felker_blog_018felker_blog_019felker_blog_020felker_blog_021felker_blog_022 So much sweetness. felker_blog_023felker_blog_024felker_blog_025felker_blog_026felker_blog_028felker_blog_029felker_blog_030 Look how excited they are to be married. I love it! felker_blog_031felker_blog_032felker_blog_033felker_blog_034   One of my favorite moments of the day… Katie wasn’t thrilled with how the bustle would look with her dress, so her seamstress gave her an unconventional option: CUT the dress.  Luckily, Katie’s stepmother has a steady hand and lots of experience. So, with a team of helpers and a rotary knife, they all came together and cut the train off Katie’s dress during cocktail hour. felker_blog_035   And they did a perfect job.felker_blog_036 The team from Kristin Ashley Events made sure every last detail was nothing but perfection. felker_blog_037 felker_blog_038felker_blog_039felker_blog_040felker_blog_041felker_blog_042felker_blog_043 Katie and Teddy walked right into the reception and started the night off with their first dance. felker_blog_044felker_blog_045   Gorgeous long tables spilling over with pale blossoms.  My favorite. felker_blog_046felker_blog_047felker_blog_048felker_blog_050felker_blog_051felker_blog_052 Photography :: Lisa Hessel Photography  |  Event Coordination and Design :: Kristin Ashley Events  |  Venue :: Country Club in St. Louis  |  Floral Design :: Bloomin’ Buckets  |  Dress  ::  Fleur de Lis Bridal  |  Videography :: Seaglass Studios  |  Band :: Griffin and the Gargoyles  |  Make-up  :: Make-Up Artistry by A & C   |  Shoes :: Jimmy Choo  |  Paper :: Ten Four Paper
