When I first walked onto the grounds of this ceremony and reception venue, my jaw dropped. Even though I was just a few miles from where I live, it sure did look like we had arrived in Southern California. The long tables, the unseasonably wonderful weather, the al fresco dining under strands of lights… it was perfect. And such a refreshing design. Everywhere I turned, every little detail was dreamy. So, needless to say, I had a hard time narrowing down all my favorites. But I hardly think anyone will mind… there’s just so much pretty everywhere. Jimmy Choo. Dreamy. I’m not sure that Katie has ever taken one bad photo. Ever. She’s a natural beauty and genuinely kind soul. So much sweetness. Look how excited they are to be married. I love it! One of my favorite moments of the day… Katie wasn’t thrilled with how the bustle would look with her dress, so her seamstress gave her an unconventional option: CUT the dress. Luckily, Katie’s stepmother has a steady hand and lots of experience. So, with a team of helpers and a rotary knife, they all came together and cut the train off Katie’s dress during cocktail hour. And they did a perfect job. The team from Kristin Ashley Events made sure every last detail was nothing but perfection. Katie and Teddy walked right into the reception and started the night off with their first dance. Gorgeous long tables spilling over with pale blossoms. My favorite.
