I feel so so fortunate to have been able to photograph Emily and Adam’s wedding day! I first met Emily when I was visiting colleges…. she worked in the admissions office and gave me my tour on my first visit to campus. I never could have imagined that I would end up photographing Emily’s wedding day all these years later, and I was so thrilled to not only document this day, but to witness a truly beautiful union. Adam is Emily’s perfect match and has made her so unbelievably happy.
So, do me a favor. Take a look at these photos. Try not to smile (doubtful you will accomplish this). Try not to get obsessed with Emily’s hair (again, doubtful). wrap your mind around the fact that I took exactly two photos of the flower girls and man, those girls were just perfect. Marvel along with me at that stunning greenery wall with the midcentery mod floating stars and floral wreaths. And, gosh, enjoy all this love. Because there’s lots of it.
Emily and Adam, your love is inspiring and hopeful and redemptive and beautiful in the very best way. They write songs about love like yours. And I’m not being dramatic. I’m beyond thrilled for you. Much love.
