There were so many lovely things to note about Joselle and Rich’s wedding in Ste. Genevieve. The beautiful Missouri countryside was the perfect backdrop on the late spring afternoon, and the cultural traditions were rich and beautiful. But even more, the emotion in the church was palpable during the ceremony.
Just a few months prior to the wedding, Rich had been injured in an accident that left him battling for his life. Surviving this horrific accident was nothing short of a miracle, and not only did he survive, but he’s made a near full recovery. The priest who officiated the wedding recalled that his parish had prayed and prayed without end for Rich’s life, and their wedding celebration was truly a celebration of new life.
What an honor it was to photograph such a special event.
