Jessie and Victor’s wedding was full…
…full of laughter and tears and hugs and kisses. And more laughter and tears.
And maybe a wee bit of rain.
It was such an honor to photograph this wedding for a family that is near and dear to my heart! Jessie called me earlier this year with the exciting news that she was engaged, and I was so thrilled that all the stars aligned and I was able to photograph her wedding. But I was even MORE thrilled that this brilliant girl had found such a wonderful man who clearly treasures her to be her husband. What a match made in heaven!
And they had a pretty fancy, good-lookin man officiate their wedding. More on that later. I promise I’m not a creep.
No way was a little bit of rain going to stop this day from being beautiful.
We love this family and have been friends with them practically since the day I moved to St. Louis!
And no way was a little bit of rain going to stop Jess’s dream of an outdoor wedding from happening.
It was pretty chilly and rainy, but Jess just could not contain her joy… and it was contagious!

These groomsmen stood behind the altar to make sure the candles stayed lit. Now THAT is dedication.
