It’s not one bit of a surprise to me that this stunning mama-to-be has become a beautiful (and pretty incredible) new mother. I’ve so enjoyed photographing Sara and Nathan through several stages of life, and their transition to parenthood has been so natural and beautiful to watch. There was a palpable sense of calm in their house… which is kind of a miracle for parents of a newborn. I will hand it to Leo, though, who might be the most content and compliant newborn I’ve ever photographed. For two hours, he barely made a peep and did just what I asked him to do. He’s a baby genius, I tell ya.
