I have a somewhat addictive personality. Every time I find something I like, I'm hooked. Seriously. Take coffee, for instance. I'm a total caffeine junkie, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Just point me to the nearest Starbucks, and I'm good to go. I once spent $200 in one month on ice cream from Coldstone (I love me some cake batter and brownie ice cream). And I'm hopeless when it comes to the show Lost . Even though it made me feel like kind of a loser, I watched 71 episodes in 20 days not too long ago. And don't even get me started on my love affair with eBay.

Then there's photography. After my very first photo shoot, I knew I might as well get accustomed to carrying my camera everywhere with me because I was hooked. Hopelessly and endlessly hooked. And it just keeps getting better.

After earning my degree in English and Public Relations, I immediately got a job as a writer, which unfortunately was not what I expected. At all. So I was handed a camera and started writing my stories without words. And the rest is history.

I'm so truly blessed to have a job that I love. I know it sounds cliche, and saying it sounds cliche sounds cliche, but seriously, taking photos is so fulfilling to me that it doesn't really ever feel like work. And, even better, I get to shoot almost all my events and sessions with the raddest assistant ever - my husband.
