When Amy and I were emailing back and forth about dates for a winter engagement session, I went into a big, long description of what makes good photos in the snow, and I detailed the conditions that I was hoping for. We were all set to do a snowy engagement session, and then, it ended up being 70 degrees. In February. And I must say, I don’t think any of us minded one bit.

We started off the session at Amy and Brett’s favorite wine bar, which was just a short walk from the park that I thought would be quite charming in the snow. .jpg)
In addition to having a completely gorgeous afternoon, my joy was doubled by how wonderful Amy and Brett were to work with. .jpg)

Amy trains runners to run marathons. I think that’s kind of awesome.

Seriously, can you believe this was in February. In Missouri?
Amy and Brett, you two were the perfect couple to have the perfect day. I can only imagine what your wedding day will have in store for us
