It’s already obvious that I adore Amanda and Joel, so I won’t even apologize for the insane amount of images I’m about to share. There are so many images that tell their story, so I’ll make my commentary minimal.
Ok, I’ll TRY to make my commentary minimal.
truth: it probably won’t be that minimal.
Amanda spent many weekends throughout her life on her grandparents farm just outside of Hermann, Missouri. Hunting, fishing, exploring, growing… the farm was a huge part of her family’s life. Tragically, a few years ago, the house where Amanda spent much of her childhood was lost in a fire. As she told me this story when we first met, she immediately threw out “Don’t get too sad. It gets better.”
The family rebuilt the cabin not long after. And it. Is. Amazing.
With the help of her lovely mother and the ever talented Katie Saeger, Amanda’s dream became a reality, and she said her vows on the same little piece of heaven that was already brimming full of memories.
I adore this shot of Amanda.
